(“Ease”), an industry leader in cloud-based process performance solutions, today announced the release of Ease Beacon 1.8, the updated version of its powerful process assessment platform that focuses on Layered Process Audit (LPA), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) inspections, and other assessments for quality-focused manufacturers and service providers.

Ease’s introduction of Beacon in 2015 innovated process assessments by incorporating mobile and tablet technology into a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. Beacon enabled companies to move away from paper-based auditing systems, gave managers more control of every aspect of their audits and inspections, and provided powerful reporting tools that offered visibility into process performance throughout the company.

Beacon 1.8 builds upon the success of Ease’s earlier versions by creating an even better experience for users. Key enhancements include:
