Can EASE link directly to a non-conformance found during an audit, so we don't have to manually create a new record and lose context?

Yes, seamless linkage is fundamental to EASE’s design. When an auditor identifies a non-conformance during an audit or inspection, the EASE platform automatically generates a Finding. Both the Finding and the audit can be attached to the Action Plan. This eliminates the manual step of cross-referencing audit findings with a separate CAPA log, ensuring immediate context and full traceability from the point of failure (the audit finding) directly to the resolution steps (the action plan).

Does it support root cause analysis methods like 8D or 5 Whys?

EASE’s Action Plan module is designed for robust Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), moving far beyond a simple task list. The system is configured by customers to support structured problem-solving methodologies such as the 5 Whys and 8D, providing dedicated fields and workflow stages to document containment, root cause determination, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness. This drives a culture of prevention of recurrence.

Can I assign tasks to team members and set specific due dates to keep the action plan on track? 

Yes, accountability and workflow management are built in. You can easily assign specific actions within the plan to individual team members and set specific, trackable due dates. The system automatically sends proactive notifications and reminders directly to the assigned owner, eliminating the reliance on manually managed email threads and boosting accountability.

If we need to attach photos or documentation of the failure or the fix, can we upload those directly to the action plan?

Yes. Documentation is key to verifying both the failure and the fix. The EASE Action Plan interface allows for the direct uploading of files like spreadsheets, photos, videos, and supporting documents. This documentation is permanently linked to the specific action item, creating a complete and auditable record of the resolution.

How can I track the status and effectiveness of action plans across different departments or facilities in real time?
